Simply playing off a different colored tee can vastly alter many holes on my home course. Play off any color. We need to get away from the mentality that the red tees are only for women. The tees should not be gender based.

Yes I agree Scott we need to mix up the tee blocks a lot more. My home club does move the tees most weeks but sometimes has a habit ob leaving them the same for at least a few rounds.

Playing away from home makes you depend more on your mental golf game than just your physical skills. You do not know the distances automatically and you do not know the “rub of the green.” Therefore you must play smart and take chances only when you have good odds. You need to putt well on an away course so you can try to hit greens in regulation and one-putt a couple of them. Mental tenacity is a great asset.

      Agreed Denny,

I think all golfers need to mix up their golf courses as often as possible or we can become complacent.

      Cheers
