3 SECRET MOVES I WISH I WAS SHOWN WHEN I FIRST PLAYED GOLF

A great golf slice fix

The best way to fix any problem with your golf swing is to practice simple drills. This repetition creates a stronger mind-body connection and can overcome the worst of golfing problems.

Whilst there are many cures and fixes for the golf slice, I’m going to focus on a drill that has helped golfers cure their slice worldwide.

I have benefited tremendously from this drill. It has turned an ugly, frustrating pull or weak fade shot into a strong & powerful draw.

Read below for more.

The L to L drill

The drill I’m talking about here is called the ‘L to L drill. It’s basically forming the letter ‘L’ during your backswing when your wrists first hinge. Next, on your follow through the clubhead and wrists hinge again.

Try this drill out first without hitting a golf ball just to get a feel for it.

Slowly work your way into hitting nice easy shots with a lofted club and then work your way up to a longer club.

WATCH THE VIDEO BELOW THAT DEMONSTRATES HOW TO PERFORM THE L TO L DRILL:

Why the L to L drill works

The reason the L to L drill is so effective in fixing the golf slice is that it gets your wrists hinging properly in the golf swing. When this happens the clubface gets squared up correctly and you also get a full extension of the arms.

The extension of the arms is critical, especially in the follow-through. This is probably the most important part of the drill.

The follow-through when performed right sees your right armed fully extended just after impact.

This is a very powerful move that almost guarantees you make solid ball contact with a stronger draw ball flight.

Now it's your turn

Give the drill a try next time you head out to the golf driving range.

If this drill doesn’t get rid of your golf slice then there’s a good chance you’re doing something else wrong.

Use this drill in conjunction with the Perfect Impact System and you'll not only fix your golf slice but develop a nice draw in the process.
