Indoor Golf Simulators: How They Can Lower Your Scores 24/7

Indoor Golf Simulators

Indoor golf simulators the way of the future

Is it too cold and wet outside to go out and improve your golf game? Imagine being able to lower your golf score on a pouring, cold wet, and windy day? I bet you’ve had days when you’ve woken up and looked at the weather and wondered how you could still work on your golf swing? I know I have and wondered if I was cursed with bad luck on why it rains on my Saturday golf game and not when I’m at work. The good news is thanks to technology, indoor golf simulators are now available in most parts of the world.

I've used and recommended the Optishot 2 Golf Simulator for all your needs.

Its state-of-the-art technology will blow you away and you'll be able to work on your golf game 24 hours of the day.

How they can help your game

There are many benefits of using indoor golf simulators.  Depending on where you live the weather can be a big factor and the ability to be able to practice in the comfort of indoors is a huge benefit.

  • Protected from the outside weather and can be played at any time of the year regardless of the temperature.

  • An 18 hole round of golf can take as little as 2 hours, halving the normal 4 hours plus round on a normal golf course.

  • Most indoor golf simulators have sophisticated golf swing tracking and are able to identify swing faults with every different golf shot you play.

  • You can play some of the most famous golf courses in the world including St Andrews, Pebble Beach, and Augusta National.

My experience

On a recent trip to Melbourne, Australia I tried for the first time the benefits of indoor golf simulators. Despite the weather outside being miserable, I was able to visit the golf simulator centre without an appointment and get started within minutes. The simulator was easy to set up and in no time I was off into my round.

The biggest benefit for me as listed in point 3 above was the feedback and statistics the simulator provided after every golf shot.

I loved being able to see with my own eyes the path of the golf club moving through to the golf ball at impact.

The accuracy of the simulators is very reliable judging by the result of one or two shots I hit.

I hit a couple of balls that started a fraction left and stayed there and sure enough the simulator identified a slight pull or outside to in swing path.
